Meet Samantha Davis
I have been an avid traveler for many years. I truly love “all things cruise” and hope to share that love, my experience, and the knowledge that I have acquired from my specialist trainings with my clients. I have been on multiple cruises with different cruise lines to itineraries such as Alaska, the Eastern and Western Caribbean, the Baltic Sea, the Norwegian coast and North Cape, as well as a Transatlantic voyage. Cruises are a beautiful and accessible way to experience the world…travelling in your own floating hotel.
The travel bug took hold very early in my adult life following a tour to Europe in high school, and it simply won’t let go…thank goodness! Because of that, I have also made European travel one of my specialties. I believe that an important part of understanding the global society is the ability to learn about other cultures and ways of life, so I thoroughly enjoy designing complex itineraries and opening the “old world” to others.
One of the core values of Cruise and Travel Ventures, LLC is education. In addition to being the owner of the company and a vacation designer, I have also been an educator/administrator in public schools for the past 26 years. These dual aspects of my life merge to make me uniquely qualified to understand the possible constraints of travel during school vacations.

Meet Jeff Marshall
Travel has been in my blood for as long as I can remember. I love visiting new places, experiencing new things, talking with local people, enjoying regional delicacies, and listening to live performances. As a former educator, cruising gives opportunities to learn while on an excursion or to relax with a good book. To discover more about a location from those who live there is a bonus to enjoying the great vistas and culinary surprises. That is why cruising is my preferred way to travel. As an Ocean Cruise Specialist, I have the ability to craft an itinerary that is unique for you.

Meet Teresa Krause
Upon my retirement from education, I was thrilled to start my new career path as a vacation designer and team member at Cruise and Travel Ventures, LLC. After 34 years as a music teacher and junior high school counselor, the opportunity to help others enjoy and indulge in the beauty of world travel was an opportunity not to be missed. While still teaching, I had traveled extensively in North America and cruised in the Caribbean, Alaska, and Northern Europe. Since becoming a vacation designer, I have found and added a new passion: Small ship adventure and expedition cruising. Adventure and Expedition cruises offer an entirely different kind of experience for active people. You can swim with sea turtles off the coast of Panama, camp overnight on Antarctica, or kayak with whales in Alaska. As we connect with the best of what nature has to provide, we find a level of gratitude and grace with our fellow human beings.
Small ships are not only for adventure and expedition cruises. River cruising also offers a unique small ship experience while traveling in luxury. In addition, the ability to connect with and experience local cultures is enhanced on a river cruise. As I continue to add to my specialist arsenal, river cruises are a priority.
Whether you want to kayak in Costa Rica, walk with the penguins in Antarctica, bike from the ship to a wine tasting in France, or view the Northern Lights in Norway, it will be my pleasure to design your next cruising adventure.
